Rotary Club of Cork organized it´s already traditional Annual Golf Fundraiser which took place on the 16th of April at the Cork Golf Club.
Facing a few Spring showers during the beginning of the day, the competition begun for 20 teams who battled it out in the field. A magnificent condition field allowed the players to enjoy a fantastic day´s golf, while fundraising for our benefitted charities.
For the past 10 years, this annual event raised money for charities. Each team´s registration fee contributed to the general donations received from members of the Cork Rotary Club as well as several local businesses. A special thank you note for all the participating teams, the volunteers who devoted their time to help make this possible, and to Margaret Heffernan of Dunnes Stores.for her generosity.
